Answer: This institution will exist in the realm of necessity for humans need to reproduce. However, family will no longer be a personal property or attachment on its member, for the members will be more attach as a collective human group in the society.

List the five most important objectives to be completed within this institution, either to satisfy needs or to facilitate the development of multitalented individuals.

Answer: They are pairing, reproduction, development of the individual as member of the society, contribution to the production of the society and be a productive member of the collective society.

What “class relations” would have to be dissolved that are – in the context of capitalism – facilitated and/or evident in this institution?

Answer: The sex-love relationship will be dissolved in communism. It will be replaced by class-love relationship. People will build their own family not because of inheritance or protection of property but to reproduce and love each other as part of the proletariat class.

If your institution is in the realm of necessity: Would you implement some sort of task rotation? If so, how often would workers rotate, and would every worker eventually do every task or job? If your institution is in the realm of freedom: how do you ensure that everyone is able to develop her/his talents to the fullest extent?

Answer: People will work according to their capacity and will be benefited on the outcome of the production based on their needs. There will be a rotation of task for everybody. There will be no alienation of labor and abuse for they are working, as part of the society, to produce only what the society needs.

The premises of history are still true, even in communism. If the satisfaction of needs begets new needs, what new needs do you envision being fulfilled by this institution in the context of communism?

Answer: In the era of modern technology such as internet and gadgets, the family will satisfy the individual’s need on interpersonal relationship. The family will defeat the imperialist culture of being alone and individualist because of the modern technology.

How will innovation occur in the context of this institution?

Answer: The traditional household chores will be changed because of modern innovation. It will be relatively easier for the people. Yet it will not make the people lazy for they will now also focused on other things to develop their skills and talents and be part of the production.
