Glory

The film? Glory? tells the history and the narrative of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry. It became the first black regiment to contend for the North in the Civil War. The Regiment was made up of black soldiers? some were Northern freewomans, some were escaped slaves. The leader was General Robert Gould Shaw, the boy of Boston emancipationists. The work forces of the 54th Regiment proved themselves worthy of the freedom for which they fighting, and the regard of their fellow white soldiers.

? Glory? is told chiefly through the eyes of Shaw, played by Matthew Broderick. At the beginning of the film, Shaw is contending in a conflict, and manages to last, despite heavy Union losingss.
