Over the old ages the music industry has grown from a reasonably profitable
industry with a few major stars into a billion dollar industry with many major
stars. The music industry has evolved in many different ways through such
innovations as the telecasting and music picture. In order to go a star in the
industry today it is about indispensable that you have a good music picture and a great
selling run. With these force per unit areas on new creative persons I believe it makes it
hard for them to be themselves and non alter there music or image in order to
sell records. I believe it is possible non to sell out in the music industry today.
Stars such as Aerosmith, Billy Joel, and Biting for illustration have ever put out
quality music and have non strayed far from there original musical roots in order
to sell records. Other creative persons like Madonna are invariably reinventing themselves
and there musical manner and have been really successful in making so. But the
inquiry is are they making this because they are a gifted creative person or in order to remain
popular and sell records. I b
elieve there is a thin line between reinventing your
musical manner and altering merely to remain popular. I believe that in order non to sell
out in the industry today you have to love your music and want others to love it as
good, non for them to love you but alternatively your music. That I think is the job
with today & # 8217 ; s creative persons, they want to go ace stars and they loose sight of the
music and concentrate to much on there image and brassy public presentations. The
great instrumentalists are loved for there music foremost and so fans fall in love with them
and there public presentations. Music is a concern though and in order to sell records
today you have to hold the entire bundle, which I think makes it highly difficult for instrumentalists to remain true to themselves and there music over the long hall. In decision I think it is possible non to sell out in today & # 8217 ; s industry, but the creative persons has to be dedicated to the music and non concerned about the money. These to qualities are about impossible to happen in today & # 8217 ; s creative persons. It is the called the music concern after all and in any concern the end is to do money which leads many of these creative persons to free at that place musical unity and necessarily sell out.
