Odysseus: Heros

A hero is a brave and strong individual, who is besides really human. A hero

feels fear and every other emotion that we do. A true hero is a individual who does

something great and does non anticipate to be given any thing in return. A hero

does something that effects a big figure of people. A hero thinks more of

others than he or she thinks of him or her ego.

The characters in the verse form, & # 8220 ; Women & # 8221 ; , and The Odyssey are both heroic poems

heroes. Odysseus is a strong and courageous adult male, but I think he lacks one of the

major features of a hero. I think he thinks of himself more than of

others. I think the characters in the verse form, & # 8220 ; Women, & # 8221 ; are better heroes because

they can be related to easier.

I don & # 8217 ; t believe the verse form characters are like an heroic poem hero because they are

less into them selves than an heroic poem hero. They besides seem to hold done lesser

things, I mean heroic heroes ever do something so great, like take 20 work forces on,

or take an ground forces to triumph. Everyday heroes seem to be more realistic and make

something that & # 8217 ; s great, but its non written up in every intelligence paper in the

state.

Odysseus is a courageous adult male that did great things. In The Odyssey he

conquers a monster utilizing smarts and strength. He besides looks out for his crew

couples. He is faithful to his married woman, good, in his head he is. He kills many work forces

on his ain in a conflict at his place. He cries a twosome of times in the narrative,

demoing sensitiveness. Overall, Odysseus is a brave and caring human that is a

The verse form & # 8220 ; Women & # 8221 ; was a great description of black adult females in the mid

1900 & # 8217 ; s. They had many of the traits that Odysseus had, like in the verse form the

writer wrote, & # 8220 ; How they knew what we must know. & # 8221 ; Stating that they were samariums

and knew that they had to do a better life for their kids. The adult females were

Odysseus and the adult females in the verse form have many similarities. They are

I think the one thing that separates these two brave and strong characters is

the manner they see them selves. The adult females seem to make things without any

acknowledgment, they do the great epic Acts of the Apostless for person else, like their hereafter

kids. While Odysseus seems to travel out and make things anticipating people to fear

him and love him. He does most every thing for him self.

I thought both of the characters, Odysseus and the adult females, were both

heroic and human. I think Odysseus is a brave and strong individual, but he seemed

to be into himself to much. I think the adult females were much more heroic in the manner

that they did so much even though there was so much against them.

I think the adult females characters are more of a function theoretical account to childs today.

Childs need to be told true narratives of hope and courage. I think Odysseus was excessively

violent and conceited. The adult females tell kids to esteem their mas and to travel

and make something that you want even though people say you can & # 8217 ; t. The existent

message is if you put your head to it you can make anything.

Odysseus and the adult females are both great heroes and I think that they are

both function theoretical accounts for kids of today and yesterday. I think the adult females are

much greater heroes. And they are true, unlike Odysseus who is a fictional

character. Both of these characters are great and courageous and heroic, but The

Odyssey is more likely to be put on Saturday forenoon sketchs than the & # 8220 ; Women. & # 8221 ;
