Exposition: The general state of affairs is revealed by the storyteller who tells the
narrative in the 3rd individual. The storyteller makes direct remarks normally

Maps show the lands in which the group of adventurers is going.
Type of Conflict: there is a individual vs. individual struggle between the midgets and
Bilbo at the beginning of the narrative. It is bit by bit resolved after Bilbo

uld subsequently

Motivating Incident: This occurs after Gandalf introduces the 13 midgets to
Bilbo. He convinces Bilbo to set about a journey with them cognizing that Bilbo
will be of much usage to them subsequently on in their travels.
Turning Point: After Bilbo escaped from Gollum and the Goblins, the midgets had
new found regard in Bilbo. They began to listen to his suggestions and follow
his actions. Their regard in him helped Bilbo happen deserving in himself.
Climax: The flood tide of the novel comes at the Battle of the Five Armies. Here
the midgets, wood elves, and work forces join in contending against the hobs and their
Alliess. Resolution: occurs after Thorin dies and and his cousin Dain is crowned
male monarch. All the hobs of the land have largely vanished and each of the separate
groups live in peace and integrity.
Plot Summary: After the inciting incident, the group comes upon three trolls
who capture them but are subsequently turned to lapidate when Gandalf confuses them,
doing them to remain outside when the Sun comes up, turning them into rock.
After seeking safety in a cave, they are captured by the hobs but flight
after some of the hobs are killed including the Great Goblin. While flying
the hob tunnels, Bilbo is left buttocks and he meets up with Gollum. This is
where he finds the charming ring and uses it to get away the Goblin tunnels and
Gollum himself. That incident resulted in the turning point of the novel. The
hobs rapidly tracked down the travellers and about killed them but the bird of Joves
had came to their deliverance transporting them far from the hobs. They sought safety
in the house of Beorn where they rested and so replenished their supplies.
While going the group was captured by the elephantine spiders. Bilbo used his

wolves attacked them. The following incident is the flood tide which is followed by the
declaration. Bilbo returns place to his hobbit hole after more than a twelvemonth of
going and escapade.
Chemical reaction: I thought that the novel was one of the best novels I & # 8217 ; ve of all time read.
It was cliff-hanging yet entertaining. I would decidedly urge this book to
others. The combination of thaumaturgy, personal victory, and escapade made it great
to read.
