The complex and singular life of Thomas Paine has greatly influenced his many Hagiographas. His manner of authorship besides has caused him to go really popular and has helped him act upon many people. Thomas Paine & # 8217 ; s common sense and difficult life had a strong influence in his authorship of & # 8220 ; Common Sense. & # 8221 ; In his authorship of the & # 8220 ; Common Sense he demanded for a revolution. He wrote really merely and boldly so that all his readers would be able to read his authorship. He fought for people & # 8217 ; s freedom as he had in his ain life and because of his committedness & # 8220 ; Common Sense & # 8221 ; became the most widely and influential Hagiographas of that clip. This became an inspiration to many people including George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, which inspired him to compose the Declaration of Independence. He started of by stating, “These are the times that try men’s souls.” This meant that loyal people were being run under the unfairness leading of the British monarchy. He hoped that this would advance the thought that a war against Britain would be a war in support of God. One of the celebrated quotation marks he said was, “ God Godhead will non give up a people to military devastation, or go forth them unsupportedly to die, who had seriously and so repeatedly sought to avoid the catastrophes of war, by every decent method which wisdom could invent.” This quotation mark meant that God was on their side and that war was a last resort and that God should accept it because peace dialogues have failed. He wanted Americans to be free and independent and he everlastingly changed the position of what independency meant.
