Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson are the two writers that I chose chiefly because their thoughts about nature are similar. Thoreau and Emerson were both authors who got their start composing during the 19th century. Their positions on nature are similar, but as with every author they show some position of different thoughts that make them unique in some particular manner.

In two wholly different narratives Thoreau and Emerson showed that the forests was the topographic point in nature that they wanted to be in order for them to happen themselves.
