Setting:

**Juliek is a Polish fiddler who is besides a captive in the concentration cantonment with Elie and his male parent. Juliek loves music and dreams of being able to play Beethoven, but Jews aren & # 8217 ; T allowed to play German music. When forced to go forth Buna since the lines are pulling near, he takes his fiddle with him and dramas for the deceasing work forces outside Gleiwitz. When Elie awoke Juliek had passed off, his violin beside him.

**Moshe the Beadle was a hapless, spiritual adult male who lived amongst the Jews of Sighet. Before he was deported he sang and chanted. He was besides Elie & # 8217 ; s maestro of the cabala.
