justification of his actions. ? The missive was written to his fellow reverends to

explicate his anterior actions and to try to warrant them. ? In the missive he

tried to explicate to the clergy that his actions although illegal were justified

and allow for the situation. ? He expressed that he exhausted every other

option possible and direct action was the lone available option left, which

could do a difference.

Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson to promote the protest of

established Torahs and justify possible actions. ? But unlike King, Jefferson besides

encouraged individuality in his declaration. ? His positions are clearly stated in

first sentence of The Declaration of Independence:

& # 8220 ; When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to

fade out the political sets which have connected them with another, and to

presume among the powers of the Earth, the separate and equal station to which

the Laws of Nature and the Laws of God entitle them, a nice regard to the

In this individual sentence Jefferson states his support for the encouragement of

individuality and the demand for protest against established Torahs. The
