When foremost fixing our fast workss we had to put up four different systems that would order our variable of fluorescent visible radiation. Each system would supply visible radiation to our fast workss for different sums of clip per twenty-four hours. Once the seeds were planted we placed the Styrofoam holders on top of a container of H2O with undersides of the wicks placed in the H2O. Then we placed four different Styrofoam pots under each of our illuming systems. Once the workss were placed we made certain the workss were approximately 10cm below the visible radiation. After the turning system and workss were complete we set the timers for the light systems to four different times: 0hrs. 6hrs. 12hrs. and 24hrs.
After four yearss of turning we observed and measured each works that grew in our 8 pots ( 4 seeds per pot ) . Once measured and the information was recorded. we removed the 3 smallest workss from each pot. which left us with 32 different fast workss. This method of taking workss to forestall overcrowding is called “thinning” . Each twenty-four hours we replenished the alimentary solution and replaced the workss so they were approximately 10cm from the light beginning.
On twenty-four hours 18 we terminated and new buds or flowers so that the works can concentrate on seed growing.
