Set in 19th century France, Victor Hugo & # 8217 ; s historical novel, Les Miserables, portrays the supporter, Jean Valjean, in his battle with his yesteryear. In another happening, Jean Valjean is placed in a event which he can take the life of his enemy, Javert. He shows that he is loyal to his word by non killing no adult male and he lets Javert travel. Jan Valjean undertakings that he is loyal and non a condemnable, with no ethical motives.
