Disciple? : I have heard that you are two of the wisest work forces in the land and so I
hold come to you in hopes of advise. I am scared for my hereafter and for the
hereafter of my newborn girl. Can you state me what is in shop for us or
give me an confidence me that we will be all right? The nazarene: Do non worry
about your life. Do non worry about nutrient, drink, the organic structure. Life is more than
these things. Believe in your heavenly Father. He knows what you need and will
provide you with it if you pattern and have faith in his instructions. Strive for
the land of God and his righteousness and all these things will be given to
you every bit good. Buddha: No. Comfort in the present and future must come from
inside the ego, non from a God. In speculation you will happen the truth of
life that will put you free from concern.
Don & # 8217 ; t pursuit after the yesteryear,
Don & # 8217 ; t seek the hereafter ;
The yesteryear is gone
The hereafter hasn & # 8217 ; t come
But see clearly on the topographic point
That object which is now,
While happening and life in
A still, unmoving province of head.
This focal point on the present is the beginning of the way to enlightenment
which is comfort through apprehension. When you are able to maintain your
head focused on the present in a? still, unmoving province of head & # 8217 ; you have
reached enlightenment, where you will be beyond all emotion including
agony and concern.
The nazarene: That is non so. A hunt for the full true of life can ne’er do you
content in your life because you can ne’er cognize everything there is. That
is for God entirely to cognize. To come in the land of Eden you must hold
religion in our Father. You must swear in His wisdom even in difficult times.
For to cognize all and understand all you would be a God. And seting
yourself on a platform with God is disrespectful and profane. But if you
follow His Torahs your agony will stop in the afterlife.
Siddhartha: Truth is available to all people non merely Gods. For truth is in all
things in the existence. We merely have to larn non to respond with emotion to
see it. If you can get the hang non responding through speculation you will see the
true nature of the existence that lies behind the semblance of emotion. In this
truth you will see the cause and consequence relationship of all things and
in that an order which will convey you understanding and comfort.
Disciple? : What are the truths and instructions you speak of?
The nazarene: In everything do to others as you would hold them make to you. Always
unrecorded by this regulation and esteem your Father and you will one twenty-four hours be
allowed to walk beside Him in the land of Eden.
Siddhartha: In this we do non much differ. The most cardinal truth is to hold
compassion for all animals. Without this you can ne’er stop agony.
& # 8220 ; If a adult male foolishly does me incorrect, I will return to him the protection of
my ungrudging love. In seeking to do anot
her torment you merely ache
yourself. A wicked adult male who spits at Eden spoils non the Eden, but
gorges himself when the saliva comes back on him. & # 8221 ;
Disciple? : But how can I cognize who is right?
The nazarene: You can cognize I speak the truth because I am our Father & # 8217 ; s Son and I carry
his word. & # 8220 ; Blessed are the hapless in spirit, for theirs is the land of
heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed
are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be
filled. Blessed are the pure in bosom for they will see God. & # 8221 ;
Disciple? : That seems just. But if I believe in God I can non be saved because I
hold already gone against these without even cognizing it.
The nazarene: You can still be saved my boy. For I am the Son of God and I am here to
heal you and shrive your wickednesss.
Disciple? : You even have the power to cleanse my rotted leg?
The nazarene: Yes I do. Be made clean!
Disciple? : OH MY? ! My eyes deceive my head! How can this be? ! ?
The nazarene: The power of God my boy.
Siddhartha: My beloved male child do you non see that no affair what power he might hold he
can non truly free you from enduring? In your reaction to his healing
you started once more the rhythm that leads to enduring but he leaves you no manner
to stop it. Suffering is & # 8220 ; any craving that is unsatisfied. & # 8221 ; If you are ne’er
allowed to happen out how this can be, because you can & # 8217 ; t inquiry, you will
ever suffer from your desire. To destruct this agony you must liberate
the ego from the thirst of desire. But you can ne’er make that if you & # 8217 ; rhenium
eyes are contending with your head, if you are contending with yourself. There is
an eight creases way which leads to the devastation of sorrow. Right
understanding1 and thought2, that lead to wisdom. Right speech3, action4,
and livelihood5, that lead to morality. Right effort6, minfulness7, and
concentration8, that lead to concentration. But accepting his power on religion
as unaccountable supports you from the first measure on the way, understanding. As
vitamin D oes responding favourably to the Torahs he states because they & # 8220 ; seem & # 8221 ; carnival. If
you react to them as just and take them as true because & # 8220 ; He & # 8221 ; says so, you give
up your power to be enlightened in your hunt for the truth. Without that to
stop your enduring you will travel to his Eden with your desires numbed or
invariably filled, but ne’er quenched, and you will ne’er genuinely be happy
Disciple? : I am still exhaustively baffled. Is at that place no definite reply! ?
Siddharthas: Not that we can give you. It is a inquiry of religion in what could be
or cogent evidence in what is.
The nazarene: Whether you trust in yourself or in the Almighty.
Siddhartha: Whether you think soothe comes from the procedure of larning or merely
holding the reply.
The nazarene: It is a inquiry of right and incorrect.
Siddhartha: It is a inquiry of what you know in your bosom of Black Marias.
Disciple? : Thank you Jesus and Buddha. Although I am still profoundly baffled I
cognize that merely I have the reply. So I will be away to happen out who and
what, I believe.
