In the drama Medea there were two chief characters Medea and Jason. We have seen these characters before in the narrative of The Golden Fleece. Medea met Jason on his pursuit for the Golden Fleece. They instantly fell in deep passionate love for each other. Although Medea had a small aid because she was under a love enchantment put on her by Cupid. During this narrative Jason pledged his life long love for Medea.
That life long love did non last for long because the full drama of Medea is about Medea & # 8217 ; s ways of acquiring retaliation on Jason for interrupting his vow to her. During the full drama Medea was cruel, and immorality. She was the true scoundrel of the narrative.
It all started in the pursuit for the Golden Fleece. Jason had to happen the Golden Fleece in order for him to go male monarch. Becoming male monarch was the most of import end in Jason & # 8217 ; s life. That & # 8217 ; s all he of all time wanted. While he was seeking to acquire the Golden Fleece he met Medea. Medea was the princess of the land. Once Jason arrived Medea, was put under a love enchantment for Jason by Cupid. She automatically fell in love with Jason at first sight. The love was so strong for him that it drove her to kill her ain brother, and abandon her land. Medea besides tricked 2 girls into boiling their ain male parent to decease. She did all this, merely so Jason could recover the Golden Fleece. Those actions are evidently non the actions of a sane adult female. Those Acts of the Apostless are evil and awful. Yet, she volunteered to make all these offenses merely to do Jason happy. After she committed these actions, she angered the Gods. They turned their dorsums on her and took off all her beauty. Jason did recover the Golden Fleece but because his land did non desire Medea as a queen ( for, she was evil ) , he got his throne taken off from him.
Jason and Medea shortly after traveled to another land of Corinth. That is where Jason broke his vows to Medea. The princess of Corinth agreed to get married him and that insured him of
going male monarch. His life long dream had been about fulfilled. This out raged Medea. For months she would non go forth her house, and during all this she was merely plotting retaliation on Jason. She held a meeting with all the ladies of Corinth and talked about how barbarous Jason was to her. She told them that she was traveling to acquire back at Jason, and the princess and her male parent. She was traveling to demo the universe how powerful she truly was.
When the king heard of this intelligence he instantly went to see Medea and ostracize her. But she persuaded him to allow her remain merely one more twenty-four hours. She succeeded she had everyone believing that she was even happy for Jason, when she truly was about to destroy his life.

Medea had succeeded she ruined Jason & # 8217 ; s life. The most surprising thing was that she was evil plenty to kill her ain kids. How can a female parent make that? Medea was wholly hardhearted and merely cared about herself. Jason eventually had found felicity and she ripped all these things form him in the most violent, and barbarous ways.
