1.                  I would suggest that the administrators should first give an orientation about the background and nature of the company so that the interns can be informed about the complexities of the organization. Through this, interns will be educated about the various functions of the employees and the operations of the company which will help them to become a better support system for the company.  Second, the appropriate giving of tasks to interns would aid in developing their knowledge and technical skills about the industry. Instead of giving errand or clerical jobs, administrators can present more challenging tasks such as report writing, researching or other assignments that are related to their studies or professional interests. Lastly, administrators can create a relaxed and approachable environment that would encourage personal and professional growth for the interns. This can be accomplished by promoting open communication so that problems or issues can be immediately resolved or addressed.

Moreover, administrators should prioritize the interns no matter how small their role in the company because internship is a way of promoting the company while getting things done at a low-cost. In order to carry out this objective, administrators must be cautious of how they treat their interns. They should avoid putting down the interns whether verbally or through actions because this kind of behaviors can only bring down the spirits of the interns. As a result, their performance and outputs will be negatively affected, which can affect the overall operations of the company.  Also, administrators should not allow their interns to explore the ins and outs of the business operation by themselves. Interns are bound to commit mistakes if they are not properly guided. Any error can bring damaging effects to the company so administrators should keep a close eye of all the actions of their terns. Another thing that the administrators should avoid doing is excessively limiting the involvement and participation of the interns. Internship is a venue to grow and enhance ones capabilities and putting too much restrictions to the actions of the interns can entail setbacks for the interns and the company.

2.                  Mentorship is a type of relationship wherein two people share information and experiences to help each other to become better individuals or professionals in their chosen field. More so, both parties enjoy the advantages of having a symbiotic relationship. Mentors act as the teachers who provide the necessary knowledge while the mentees are those who are trained and educated in exchange for labor works. Through this, mentors get things done with the help of the mentees while the mentees acquire the essential knowledge and experience needed for their projected career. To be become an effective mentor, one should take on 3 challenging roles which are the following: instructor, professional and friend. As an instructor, mentors should impart knowledge to their mentees. Meanwhile, as a professional, mentors must emphasize their position as the experienced and learned party in order to earn the respect of the mentees. Mentors should also act as friends so that they would personally know their mentees that can facilitate the establishment of a healthy and productive collaboration.

3.                  An effective mentor should be experienced and knowledgeable, supportive and flexible. Being experienced and knowledgeable are the core qualities of mentors because without wisdom and trainings, mentors do not have anything to impart to their mentees. More so, being supportive also helps in encouraging the growth of the mentees under their supervision. If they become unsupportive, their mentees will experience a meaningless internship. Furthermore, it is important for mentors to be flexible in order to be able to adapt to the different personalities and capabilities of their mentees which would make their relationship beneficial and valuable.
