Cassius got his first motorcycle at age 12 but it was stolen after two yearss. He went to describe it to
a police officer. The constabulary officer he came upon was Joe Martin, an Irish-American who
owned an recreational pugilism gym. He persuaded Cassius to larn pugilism. That was the start
of his calling. Muhammad Ali ( Cassius Clay, Jr. ) is known as the greatest pugilist of all clip.
It didn Ts take long earlier Cassius was wholly dedicated to packaging. Cassius was
now traveling to prosecute his calling. At the age of 16 Cassius won the Louisville Golden Glove
light heavyweight rubric. Then he won the Amateur Athletic Union ( AUU ) rubric in 1960 and
went on to stand for the United States in the Rome Olympics. There he beat his opposition
Zibigniew Pietryzkowaski to win the gold decoration. After this Cassius decided to go a
professional pugilist. A group of business communities formed a mob to patronize him. On Oct-
ober 29,1960 Cassius became professional.
Cassius was get downing to emerge as a title-holder. His first rubric shooting was against
Sonny Liston, a large adult male who would give Mike Tyson a good tally for his money. Cassius
was known for his oral cavity. He badmouthed all his oppositions, his oral cavity had gotten him a
batch of cardinal lucifers in his life. Before the lucifer started Cassius said to Sonny I ve got you
now, chump and he did acquire him. He beat Sonny in the 7th unit of ammunition. There was a replay
held between Sonny & A ; Cassius. This clip Cassius knocked Sonny out in the 1st unit of ammunition. He
knocked him out with the ill-famed apparition clout. The clout was so fast the cameras
about missed it.
After the lucifer Cassius gave the intelligence that he had conve
rted to Islam. Before this
Cassius was baptized Catholic. He changed his name to Muhammad Ali. He became fri-
terminals with Malcom X and Elijah Muhammad. Malcom went to all of Ali s lucifers. When
Malcom X was assassinated it hit Ali really hard. He was depressed and scared for his ain
life excessively.
The biggest challenge was when he got drafted for the U.S. ground forces. Ali refused to
travel on the beliefs of the Islamic faith. The ground forces still wanted him to travel to the Vietnam
war. They put him on test and if he was convicted he would acquire 9 old ages sentence in gaol.
Ali s attorneies managed to acquire the sentences up to 5 old ages. Ali so came back in 1970, but
he didn Ts have the licence to contend and his belt was striped from him.
Ali eventually got his licence back in some provinces and so the whole U.S. Ali now
wanted to acquire his belt back. The adult male who had his belt was Joe Franzier. The lucifer
between them was called The battle of the century. Franzier beat him in the 15th unit of ammunition.
They had a replay after Franzier lost the rubric to George Foreman, this clip Ali beats
Franzier in th12th unit of ammunition. Ali goes on to crush George Foreman to recover his rubric.
Subsequently in his calling Ali began enduring the symptoms of the Parkinson s disease. It
affected his address and motion. He got the award of illuming the Olympic torch in the
1996 Olympics. He even went to Iraq to assist liberate the 12 sureties being held by Saddam
