At first I ne’er had wanted to travel to college because I didn & # 8217 ; Ts like
school, but now as I get older I realize that I will necessitate a college instruction to
do it in life. So when the inquiry came up what college would I wish to travel
to? I knew right off that I wanted to travel to the University of Kentucky. It is
the lone college that I would of all time sing traveling to, I love this college
with a deep passion. They have my favourite hoops squad and the besides
represent Kentucky ( The province in which I was born. ) .
From its modest beginnings in 1865, when it was known as a State College,
the University of Kentucky has grown into one of the state & # 8217 ; s most outstanding
establishments of higher acquisition. As a comprehensive land-grant university, UK
offers an educational experience that can non be matched anyplace in the
Commonwealth. The Lexington campus consist of 764 estates and 24,200 pupils.

When I was asked the inquiry what I wanted to be when I grow up I

when I decided that I wanted to be a journalist. I guess I merely hadn & # 8217 ; T had my
call until so. This was the twelvemonth that likely changed my whole life. It was
the twelvemonth that I took my first twelvemonth of newspaper category. I truly chose the category
& lt ;< p>non cognizing what I was approximately to meet. But, after I got to cognize everyone and
how the category worked I knew that I found my naming. I truly enjoyed the category
that twelvemonth because I truly liked the instructor and the pupil editor. They made
larning how the newspaper category worked and how to work together as a squad merriment.
I am now in my 2nd twelvemonth of the Pacer Post and looking frontward to another twelvemonth
in front of me.
Hopefully when I graduate I will hold 3 old ages of high school newspaper
category plus, I would wish to hold some on the occupation preparation. I already have a batch
of experience with all sorts of computing machine plans such as: Microsoft Works,
Microsoft Word, Adobe Pagemaker 6.0, Corel 6.0, Netscape, Microsoft Internet
Explorer, and Windows 95. I think that the combination of all these things plus
a college grade will do for a good calling in news media.
When I attend the University of Kentucky I will non hold to work through
college because my male parent said that if I decide to travel to college he will pay for
it. I besides plan to analyze some other classs in college that will besides do a
good calling. That is so if my news media calling falls through I will hold
something else to fall back on. I will populate on campus in a residence hall and will
likely do a little of the partying that goes on at colleges all over the universe.
But, I think that I am responsible plenty to cognize when it is clip for me to acquire
serious about my instruction.
I truly can non wait to travel to college. But, besides I would wish to bask
