My Doctrine

? You can merely appreciate things that are fun after you work hard to accomplish them. ?

Fortune Cookie, 2000

My doctrine of life is that if you work hard plenty, you will accomplish the things you want. In other words, ? Practice makes perfect. ?

The feeling that you get from holding merriment is great, but it is of import to work hard to accomplish this? merriment? thing. The feeling of holding merriment is irrelevant if difficult work was non involved in accomplishing it. An illustration to exemplify this point is when person begins a new athletics. At first, you will be bad at the athletics and will hold a great trade of trouble, but with difficult work and a great trade of pattern, betterment will go possible. I can associate this to my personal experiences with ice hockey. I had ne’er played before this past October and had merely skated four times in my life. From October until the season ended in March, I practiced every Monday and Wednesday. I felt that I was working really hard at acquiring better and by March, I could really execute adequately and no longer embarrassed myself every clip I go on the ice. I felt really good about my accomplishment in this athletics.

Another illustration of experiencing a sense of satisfaction from difficult work happened from my last biological science test. I studied more than I had of all time studied for a biological science trial before. Many hours of reappraisal were put into this peculiar unit of survey. I studied both at place and in support category. The concluding merchandise of all this attempt was a 99 per centum on my trial. Never before did I make this well on any trial. The feeling I had when Mrs. Wysocki handed me back my trial was antic. I felt a true sense of accomplishment because of all the clip and attempt I put into analyzing.

My 3rd a

nd concluding illustration of experiencing a sense of satisfaction from difficult work happened last twelvemonth in baseball. I wasn? t the fastest child on the squad, or the longest batter, and I didn? Ts have an exceptionally strong throwing arm, but I had a batch of bosom and fortune. I worked difficult every pattern ( like in hockey ) , and I started to better all my accomplishments. By the terminal of the season I was a reasonably good rounded baseball player, and I became the best outfielder on my squad ( I had 5 sliding gimmicks, and 4 diving gimmicks ) . Since my squad pulled together so good, we made it to the playoffs. The first squad that we played was astonishing ; they were undefeated in the regular season. We played a long difficult fought game, and we went into excess innings. The other squad scored two tallies, and so since we were the place squad we got a opportunity to bat. I was the fifth hitter up, a adult male on first and 3rd, and with two outs and two work stoppages against me ( conceive of the force per unit area ) , the pitch was perfect and I hammered it into deep centre. I ran the fastest that I have of all time ran before, work forces on first and 3rd scored, so my manager gave me the stop mark ( like I? d listen ) , but kept on running. The outfielder threw it to the cut off adult male, who so threw it place to the backstop. It was merely me and the backstop now ( merely conceive of what my manager must? ve been believing during this ) . I ran full velocity and delivered an tremendous organic structure cheque to the backstop, which caused the ball to wing out of his hand, and so the ump shouted? Safe! ! ! ? My whole squad ran onto the field and picked me up at place home base, I was so proud. I? m non certain but until this twenty-four hours, I think that my pa was so proud that his eyes were filled with cryings of joy.

In my head, my doctrine couldn? T be more true. If you work hard and pattern a batch, you? ll acquire better at something, and so you have a batch of merriment making it.
