Once when we had our Dussehra vacation. we went to see topographic points of historical importance with our instructor. We hired a coach. First we went to the Qutab. It is known as King Chandra’s pillar. It is more than two-thousand-year-old. Next we went to see the carvings of Hindu Gods and goddesses on rock slabs. We were truly surprised to see the wooden slabs altering into tone.

From the Qutab we went to Tughlaqabad. Here an old metropolis of Delhi. founded by Tughlaq Kings. was one time situated. Now it lies in ruins. Then we proceeded to Hauz Khas which was the abode of male monarchs. We relaxed for sometime on the green lawns. We had our tiffin here and refreshed ourselves with tea.

Next we went to Humayun’s Tomb where Emperor Humayun lies buried. We appreciated the Mughal art and architecture. There are Gravess of the Mughals nearby. Our following topographic point of visit was Kotla Feroze Shah. Feroze Shah Bahadur’s grave and a mosque are built in it. This topographic point is known for the Ashoka pillar. which was brought from Meerut. Next we saw the ruins of Old Fort. It was started by Humayun but was completed by Sher Shah Suri.

In the terminal we went to the Red Fort. It is a all right edifice of olympian magnificence. There we saw Diwan-i-Khas. It shows the architectural gustatory sensation of the great Mughal Emperor. Shah Jahan. The glorification of the antediluvian ages is writ big on its face. We visited the museum inside the garrison. Many things of historical value are displayed here.
