I saw some kids playing in our vicinity the other twenty-four hours and the simpleness of how they lived their life amazed me. Here were two childs belonging to comparatively the same age group ; one had a Popsicle stick and the other had a battalion of cookies. Now. I am certain both of them were rather funny as to what the other kid had since they would look oddly at each other. Finally. after about a minute or so. the kid with the battalion of cookies approached the other kid.

At that point I wish I had the ability to talk the linguistic communication of kids because I have no thought what was said but when the kid with the battalion of cookies reached for the Popsicle. the other kid merely gave him the autonomy to savor it. What is even more amazing is the fact that when the other kid offered a cooky without any vacillations! Looking back at this. I would state it was a empyreal experience for me. At that point. the universe all of a sudden made sense to me. I thought to myself. “This is how life should be! ” It’s merely populating in arrant apprehension of your fellow adult male.

I have no thought how the class of history shaped humanity into the animals we are today. We put ourselves on a pedestal and think that our society has reached the pinnacle of success when in fact ; we continue to gyrate towards degeneracy. We have left a trail of war. force. bias. and favoritism in our history and yet all we can state is that we have evolved into a more civil society! It is a false consciousness that has become the cloth of our universe. Furthermore. we have resorted to power and domination as tools to convey about what we refer to as “peace. ”

This is rather saddening but however. it is the world we are faced with. As we grow and develop into the so called responsible individuals’ society demands. we continually lose the pureness and simpleness we possessed as kids. As we mature we become more wearied and as a consequence the lines of what is right or incorrect fuzz before us. We lose touch of the most basic of values ; that is to state. loving one another. A basic bid left to us by Christ and the key to a Utopian society. I came to recognize that the universe has been reduced to the touchable things ; stuffs and objects have become what specify a adult male.

Consequently. it has besides made us ego-centric. Our universe has become about what I want and what I need…we have become apathetic to the predicament of others and have been raised to be indurate. We no longer hold a sense of societal equity or justness. As I reflect more on this. I become progressively positive that this is the root of all the pandemonium we have. No admiration we seek to prosecute in war and expression to direct our ain people to foreign lands merely to acquire slaughtered in the name of “democracy” and peace! You see peace may be an abstract idea to us merely because we have forgotten about how touchable it can be.

It isn’t ever about what makes us experience good or what benefits us. It’s about looking at a grander strategy wherein other people. regardless of colour. race or creed become a portion of who we are. This is a consciousness we must internalise and re-introduce into the cloth of society. Plato. Aristotle and Socrates spoke of this in changing grades. It is about the common good. Not I but we. Looking back at the two kids. it wasn’t about bartering or what one could acquire from the other. It was merely about understanding the demands of the other individual.

Using this fundamental political orientation would be the key to a better society. What would I pay to accomplish peace? Not 1000000s in pecuniary value. non merely because I don’t have this…well no 1 could really set a monetary value on peace. In the terminal. the monetary value is simple ; I would give-up my civil autonomies in order for others live more comfortably. Quite a forfeit. but it is a higher degree of understanding we all have to accomplish and one I would lief pay in order to achieve peace. After all. if everyone lived in this mode so set uping a universe of peace would be child’s drama so to talk!
