Wind Symphony

The Wind Symphony preformed on Monday, October 11 at 8:00 p.m. at the Walton Arts Center in Baum-Walker Hall. The public presentation lasted one hr and 30 minuets and consisted of six pieces.
The first piece was Variations for Wind Band by Ralph Vaughn Williams. All the instruments tuned to the hautboy so they started the English piece. The Bass and symbols came in first and was really loud. The vocal reminded me of the film & # 8221 ; Plunderers of the Lost Ark. & # 8221 ; The feeling was cryptic and I liked it.
The 2nd piece was & # 8220 ; Chester & # 8221 ; Overture for Band by William Schuman. This American vocal moved really fast with a batch of clarinet and flute for the tune. I liked this vocal because it was loyal.
The 3rd piece was Chester springs in by Steven Bryant. I truly liked this vocal because I heard a batch of clarinet and bell solos. I happen to be a clarinet participant and I know how difficult it is f
or clarinets to be heard so I truly enjoyed this piece.
The 4th piece was Marche Joyeuse by Emmanuel Chabrier. This piece featured an hautboy solo and so the full set came in and repeated the tune several times. I liked this Gallic vocal because of the comprehensiveness and profusion of the beat. This vocal made me experience happy.
The 5th piece was Bacchanale by Rolf Rudin. This German piece was full of fantastic minutes and colourss, but alterations feelings though out. First the vocal starts out cliff-hanging like something bad is about to go on in a thriller film. Then the vocal alterations to happy like what person might hear at a festival. At the terminal there is a cornet solo that expresses major and minor harmonics. I thought this vocal was excessively long, but I still liked it.
The 6th piece was Vesuvius by Frank Ticheli. This American piece featured an hautboy and Gallic horn solo. Lots of a trigon was used every bit good. Towards the center there was a violent vent sound and so a loud knock at the terminal. I did non like this piece every bit good as the others because it seemed evil with the explosive beat and loud bass sounds.
