Decision: Love and beauty are in the eyes of the perceiver.
Love affair, love, lecherousness, and seduction are interesting subjects for all people.
Shakespeare writes about all of these things. In My kept woman eyes by William
Shakspere he is showing his significance of love and beauty. Love is different for
each person, but still has a cardinal thought environing the word. That cardinal thought
of love is one of joy, felicity, and cloud nine. Shakspere expresses through My
mistress eyes that the thought of love is based upon one s ain individualism. Who
wants to love person who is so much like the following individual? Who wants to love
person who is so much like their ain ego? I feel that love is precisely like
Shakespeare describes. Peoples like uniqueness and things that are different to that
certain individual. I think that all people like things that are different and unsual dealing
with love. My mistress eyes expresses love as being uniqueness, non-perfect, and
psyche searching.
Shakspere in his verse form My kept woman eyes states that his mistress eyes are
non every bit beautiful as the Sun, her lips aren t the colour of coral, her chests are non the
perfect colour, her hair is like wires, her cheeks aren T every bit reasonably as roses, she does non
odor every bit nice as aroma, her breath is non pleasant, her voice is non every bit pleasing as
music, and she does non walk quietly like most beautiful adult females do. Shakespeare is
protraying his kept woman to be non beautiful on the exterior and non beautiful compared
to other adult females that have earned the label of being beautiful. Shakespeare finds
beauty deep within his kept woman and he sees beauty in her because she is non like all
the other adult females. His mistress eyes, lips, chests, hair, cheeks, odor, breath, and
voice entreaty to him because she is how beauty looks to him. Shakspere came up
with his ain definition of beauty and the definition he has protrayed in the verse form is
that of difference and being alone is what beauty is to him.
My mistress eyes expresses the idea of love being that of an sentiment of
what beauty is from different positions. In the three quatrains Shakespeare is
fundamentally stating that his kept woman has alone, but non beautiful characteristics. In line one
Shakespeare says My mistress eyes are nil like the Sun, but why should all
beautiful adult females have eyes like the Sun? Beauty has been said to be in the eyes of the
perceiver and so why does eyes like Sun mean that one is beautiful. If everyone s eyes
were the same in colour and form so people would be excessively conformed and who
would be the justice of what beauty was if every characteristic was the same about a individual.
In lines nine and ten Shakespeare provinces I love to hear her speak, yet good I know
that music hath a far more pleasing sound and this simply is adding that he knows
her voice is non pleasant and does non give him the same feeling as music, but her
voice is still beautiful to him. Shakespeare simply is saying that the things that others
find beautiful he does non. I find that love is excessively frequently based upon visual aspects and
should be based on being compatable. Love is being about to look over all the
raging wonts and looking over all the non so beautiful qualities. I think to look
past all the things I do non wish about the individual and still love the individual is what
Shakespeare s thought about love is. I think it takes more love to look past all the
non-perfect facets of a individual than it does to merely expression at whether the individual is
beautiful or non. The alone qualities of his kept woman makes his love for her stronger.
He knows that her qualities are non those of outstanding beauty by definition of
society, but who is to state they are non? Shakespeare is stating that her qualities are
beautiful and he loves her for these different qualities no affair if others do non happen
them beautiful.
In the pair Shakespeare concludes the verse form declaring his kept woman as non
being beautiful as to the criterions he gives by stating all these things about her that
make non run into the criterions of being beautiful really makes her more beautiful to
him. I believe this backs up my feelings that it is the things that are different about
people that makes one love them profoundly plenty to look past merely the visual aspect.
Shakespeare provinces And yet, by Eden, I think my love every bit rare as any she belied
with false comparison and by stating this he means his love for her is a rare love
because she is non normal and is non beautiful by the conformed definition.
All of her characteristics are non every bit beautiful as some adult females characteristics, but he loves her
because she is beautiful in a different manner. She is beautiful because she is different
and in the pair he is declaring this. Shakspere is in love with facet of her
beauty being a different beauty than that of the typical beauty in society. I believe
this is true because society has made beauty be one certain thing and I believe it is
non. I think that beauty is what entreaties to different people and in my sentiment merely
like Shakespeare says the other things that make the individual stand out and the things
that gimmick my oculus are the things that make me love that individual more and those things
are beautiful. The pair concludes his verse form of specifying each manner his kept woman is
non perfect and beautiful by saying it is her ain sort of alone beauty that makes
him love her.
My thought of love is a authoritative thought. My mistress eyes describes my feelings
and thoughts environing love and beauty. Love is a powerful thing and lightning will
work stoppage, articulatio genuss will tremble, thenars will sudate, and eyes will glow when one is in love.
Being is love is non loving the visual aspect and beauty of a individual, but instead loving
that individual because that individual is person who stands out in a crowd and because
that individual makes feelings originate that no other has touched. Shakespeare expresses
precisely what I think love is. Love is loving unconventional things, loving unique
qualities, and non being afraid of being different. If everyone loved the same type of
people and the same type of qualities in people so what happens to all the other
people that do non run into these qualities? Do they non acquire loved? Loving the
singularity and the particular qualities of a individual makes relationships last and makes
passion grow within the relationship. Love and beauty are most definately in the
eyes of the perceiver and as Shakespeare put it As any she belied with false
comparison ( line 14 ) .
