Descriptive Portrait Of A Friend Essay, Research Paper
Portrayal of a Friend
Have you of all time had person in your life who helped you figure
out who you were? Person who showed you the right way. Person
who was at that place right next you even if you did non take that way.
Person who ever seemed to be right, but ne’er held it against
you when you were non. Person whom without your life would most
probably be wholly different. I have. Her name was Melissa.
Melissa was more than my neighbour. She was more than my
wise man. She was my best friend. Melissa lived three houses down
from me when I moved into a new vicinity. She made traveling to
a new vicinity a batch easier. She was one of those people who
was friends with everybody. She was friends with everyone because
she was so particular. She was ever in a good temper, ever had
something pleasant to state, and no affair what was traveling on, she
could acquire you to smile.
Melissa was a few old ages older than me but we were both
immature. I was in the 5th class and she was in junior high when
we met. She was tall for her age and practically towered over me.
She about ever kept her long aureate hair pulled back into a
pony tail because she was a spot of a romp and liked to be
athletic. But when she let it down and it waved in the gentle
zephyr, there was no uncertainty she was a miss. Her facial characteristics
were really soft, yet if you met her one time, you would ne’er bury
her name. She besides had the deepest green eyes that would scintillate
so bright when she flashed her pearly white dentitions, she would
visible radiation up an full room.
Everywhere she was, there would be laughter, smilings and
felicity distributing out like some kind of delicious virus. She
would listen to you. She would be your friend, even if she merely
met you. I can non retrieve a clip when she had something
unpleasant to state about person.
That was one of many valuable
lessons I learned from her and have made apart of my life.
She seemed to cognize everything. Anytime I had a perplexing
inquiry I knew she would cognize what to state me. Her wisdom
spanned several topics. Everything from the text edition things
they wanted me to larn in school, to the life lessons that there
are no text edition for.
She taught me by illustration. She showed me that it was merely a
waste of my clip and energy acquiring huffy, disquieted, angry or so ireful
that I allowed myself to be controlled by my emotions. She was
ever composure, patient, and even tempered when faced with people
who were less than pleasant to be around. I learned from
watching her trade with people that being nice ne’er fails. And I
learned from watching her trade with the state of affairss life would
nowadays that every bit long as you gave everything you had to give and
ne’er quit, you could ne’er be round.
Melissa was a genuinely astonishing friend. She was a true friend. I
could ever depend on her being there for me with the right
words of advice. Even if I did non desire to hear what she was
stating. She had been precisely where I was and she knew how
parlous the journey of adolescence could be. She informed and
guided me in my picks. Yet she ne’er forced anything on me. My
errors were for me to do. But she would be right at that place to
maneuver me back one time I realized what I had done.
I know for a fact that my life and my attitudes toward life
would be different if I had ne’er known Melissa. There were so
many times in my life where I would hold been wholly lost
without her sort words and soft voice at that place to comfort and
shepherd me. Although Melissa is off at college and non here
sharing her laughter everyday, she is still with me. In my
attitudes and actions everyday of my life. I could ne’er bury
what she showed me. And I would ne’er desire to.
