My Personal Statement
As a brief background, I would like to introduce myself and highlight the primary reasons together with those I considered important achievements that has significantly encouraged me to choosing the Master of Science in Management at the Imperial College Business School.
I am Ehsan Khoshgoo an Iranian national, and currently employed as a PR Marketing Executive to a firm in London. I began my early years of education in the United States but my family has eventually returned to Tehran in Iran. I graduated with academic honors in Bachelor of Science in Tourism at the Eastern Mediterranean University in Famagusta, Cyprus in year 2005.
After graduating from college, I was employed by the Iranian-based DANEF Company Limited as a PR Marketing Advisor inclusive of year 2005-2007. While having the specific task in marketing, I was subsequently appointed as an official interpreter of DANEF’s Chief Executive Officer and had the opportunity to attend business meetings with various companies and its top level management across Tehran and Dubai.
In 2007, the family and I have migrated to the United Kingdom and obtained permanent residency. During this period towards year 2008, I was able to focus on nurturing English language proficiency and further learning on Information Technology, which is essential to my present job undertaking.
Firstly, my primarily reasons for choosing the programme for Master of Science in Management is to acquire a relevant qualification that is needed in career advancement, specifically relating to my present line of work. Secondly, the programme would enable me an adequate and necessary managerial skill along with my interest in engaging business entrepreneurship.
May I say that I intently aspire a career that is not only in line with my present job, but as well contributory in transpiring the economic lives of my fellow Iranians, in which I am inspired to contribute in developing the significantly needed industrial skills in my home country in Iran. To mention the various entrepreneurial business opportunities that can be tapped to contribute employment and income generation.
I firmly believe that choosing a Master of Science in Management at the Imperial College Business School will be a privilege and proud preference, having a world renowned reputation in nurturing a managerial skill that is with profound career advancement and social responsibility. Correlating with that belief shall impart me with relevant knowledge of professionalism, integrated skill and social management that is much relevant to my above mentioned aspirations.
My position of responsibility is to acquire the relevance of skills development in order to achieve a profound managerial expertise that I can utilize as a tool in aspect of undertaking marketing techniques. From which based on my experience with DANEF Company Limited, a highly managerial skill can facilitate an effective and efficient strategic marketing concepts that engages both domestic and international business operational components. Thus, I believe that pursuing an advance education at Imperial College Business School can further provide me new horizons of management expertise and social responsibility through acquiring the programme on Masters in Science Management.
In closing, I would like to convey that my occupational work in marketing and initial integration within the industry has instilled me with significant experiences that I consider as an achievement of which I can be proud of, learn and provide with sustainable development, integral to my aspiration of reaching out and bringing about a holistic career that touches the lives of the many, specifically in my home country.
Finally, based on the above mentioned fundamental reasons, I fervently hope that Imperial College Business School will provide me with many beneficial knowledge and guidance towards achieving my personal and social aspirations.
