In Montana, the summer of 1948 held a series of tragic events which were to hold a lasting and decisive impact on David and his parents. This concatenation of events were to turn David? s immature life and that of his household upside down everlastingly and which was to so angrily take him out of childhood, destructing his artlessness and vernal naivete in the procedure. However, David? s flooring disclosures lead to his painful gaining of wisdom.
