My First Computer

Wow, what an experience it was to see for the first clip a machine that could believe!

This machine could make math, show artworks at the bead of a dime, and play two dimensional games ( whic was all that was about back so ) . This wasn & # 8217 ; t something that you usually saw. This was something that seemed to come directly out of a scientific discipline fiction movie. At least that was what I thought.

So my pursuit was clear to me. I was to larn how to pull strings a computing machine. So to get down, all the computing machine swots ( such as myself ) know that to run an old 286 ( which was what I had ) you need to cognize DOS. This is the toughest manner to get down. DOS is made up entirely of typed bid. Not like these point and snap bids that we use in current times. At this point the mouse was merely coming into to production, and was non really well-known. This is the clip that I began to experiment with DOS. plan called windows.. When I foremost put it all together I was in awe. This thing midget my old computing machine, I thought. But this twenty-four hours was bitter-sweet. My sister, believing that you had to pu

sh the CD-ROM tray for it to shut, broke it’s tray ( I about killed her ) . After this my following end was to put in a new CD-ROM. We sent the old one in ( since it was still under warrantee ) and had a new one sent out. I did travel on and put in my first piece of hardware ; it was a thing of beauty. Now I was on my manner. I was eventually larning how to put in constituents on a computing machine. One dark while experimenting I by chance erased my difficult thrust. So, as I have done before, I learned how to repair it. The lone manner to repair this job was by first install DOS and so Windows, which I did.

I would merely construct them myself. I tore apart my old computing machine and used it for garbages. Then I went out and bought new computing machine parts ; a motherboard, cardinal processing unit ( CPU for short ) , etc. As usual, I ran into some troubles ; I went out to purchase my CPU and bought the incorrect on ( this took me a few months to larn and acquire the right 1 ) . Finally, I built it ( it was a Pentium 166 MHz in instance you wanted to cognize ) . The feeling that I could govern the universe was puting in at this point. Since so I have built many computing machines for other people and even built another 1 for myself ( Pentium Celeron 333 MHz )
