Losing person near to you, a loved one, is a really hard state of affairs. This causes people to alter their lives and the manner they look at life. Valediction, a verse form, and Man on the Moon both Tell of this quandary. Many similarities are attributed to the two relationships between adult male and adult female in Valediction and the two brothers, Brent and Sam, in Man on the Moon. However, there are differences between the two narratives.
In this relationship of brother to brother there is a intimacy in which the lone thing that can come between them is decease. Brent and Sam are really near and about act as the same individual. Sam tries to speak about the disappearing in order to let go of some of the ideas he still has indoors, but does non hold much success in that others want to set the past off. Sam is speaking to The Swan, Brent s girlfriend, and inquiring if Brent would desire them t
