Warrior, gladiator, knight, or soldier, what of all time you call it, they are the 1s

that do the dirty work in a certain society. A warrior is a defined as a adult male

engaged in or experienced in warfare ; one devoted to military life. You can state

that Beowulf was a good warrior because, he was fearless, proud, good respected,

and had a sense of responsibility to society. Therefore both Beowulf and Macbeth, have

features of a good warrior. A good warrior is unafraid and would take up

any challenge that is offered to him/her, even if the undertaking leads to decease or

personal hurt, they would contend no affair what. When Beowulf fought the firedrake

he was unafraid, and even fought without any arms, “ I & # 8217 ; d use no blade, no

arm, if this animal could be killed without it, crushed to deathlike Grendel,

gripped in my custodies and lacerate limb from limb. But his breath will be firing hot ;

toxicant will pour from his lingua. I feel no shame, with shield and armour,

against this monster: when he comes to me ” This is a good illustration of a

brave and fearless warrior, which fights with enthusiasm and devotedness, even

idea he know the result could be hot toxicant. Beowulf had tonss of assurance

in himself as he states, “ Grendel is no braver, no stronger, than I am! I

could kill him with my blade ; I shall non. ” This is a good illustration of how a

good warrior has assurance, and would ne’er turn down a battle. In Macbeth,

even though he is near his last conflict, he is still confident during his about

last conflict, as he talks with assurance to Young Siward, “ No, nor more

fearful. ” He is stating to the Young Siward, he is still unafraid, and as a

good warrior would make, seek to frighten his opposition. A good warrior besides has

self-respect for himself or herself and besides has award for his/her ain name. As

Beowulf says, “ He who can gain it should contend for the glorification of his

name. ” This is a good illustration of how Beowulf lives up to his name, as every

good warrior does. A good warrior is good respected by fellow warriors, society,

and higher aut

horities. In Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the Sergeant Tells Duncan,

“ For brave Macbeth, & # 8211 ; good he deserves that name. ” Fellow warriors

besides regard Beowulf and friends even after his decease they respect him as they

mourn his decease by stating, “ And so Beowulf & # 8217 ; s followings rode, mourning their

darling leader, shouting that no better male monarch had of all time lived, no prince so mild, no

adult male so unfastened to his people, so meriting of congratulations. ” This is a good illustration

on how good warriors are good respected and praised by fellow warriors. Good

warriors give a sense of responsibility to the society, and carry through what is needed to

be done to maintain their land or society happy. In Macbeth, Macbeth states his

trueness to his throne and his sense of responsibility to the province, “ The service and

the trueness I owe, in during it, pays itself. Your Highness, portion is to have

our responsibilities ; and our responsibilities are to your throne and the province, kids and

retainers ; which do but what should, by making everything safe toward your love

and honor. ” Beowulf is besides a good illustration of a warrior who follows the

responsibilities needed to maintain society happy, as he states “ Anything I can make, here

on this Earth, to gain your love, oh great male monarch, anything more than I have done,

conflicts I can contend in your award, cite me, I will come as I came one time

before. ” In this illustration Beowulf is saying that he would give anything to

protect the land and anytime they need him he would be at that place for them. This

is the sense of responsibility that Macbeth and Beowulf give to their land and province,

and all good warriors have this characteristic. I conclude that a good warrior

is unafraid, proud, good respected, and had a sense of responsibility to society. Beowulf

and Macbeth are good illustrations of a good warrior because of their heroic

features and attitude. They are really good respected and known for their

actions, and hence they have and besides created some features of a good

warrior.
