Vladimir Lenin, a political leader of the Russian revolution was born on the 20th of April 1870, in the Russian town of Simbirisk. His existent name was Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov. He was the 3rd kid in a household of six. His male parent was a school inspector and they lived comfortably, They had a pleasant, spacious house.

As a male child Vladimir was sly and naughty. He broke things and teased the younger childs. However, he got highly good classs and did exceptionally good in school. When Lenin was 15 old ages old, catastrophe struck his household when Lenin s father died. This took away the household s income and the protection of the male parent. Two old ages later his older brother Sasha, was caught with a group revolutionists on a mission to assassinate the Czar Alexander the III. At his test Sasha said he wanted to derive political freedom for the Russian people. As a consequence of this incident Sasha was hung.

Sasha s decease made a deep feeling on Lenin, and he decided to go on his brother s work. Lenin saw himself as being on a mission to assist the hapless and to do Russia into social- communist authorities. He wanted to acquire rid of the different economic categories of people. At the clip, most people lived on little farms and were really hapless. When the harvest was bad, they did non hold plenty to eat. A few people lived really good and were wealthy. They were called the nobility. Lenin s household was non hapless but he felt that the system was non just and people should be equal. To accomplish these terminals Lenin joined the Bolsheviks, a radical motion.

Lenin continued his instruction at the university of Kazan, where he studied jurisprudence. Three months subsequently he was expelled from school for go toing a pupil meeting protesting the deficiency of freedom in the school. He reapplied many times to the school but was non readmitted. However at St. Petersburg University he was allowed to analyze by himself and take trials. He received jurisprudence grade in 1891.

While analyzing for his jurisprudence grade Lenin besides studied Marxism. He began to distribute Marxist thoughts of a classless society to provincials and workers. He was arrested for these activities and exiled to Siberia. While in expatriate he wrote about the jobs with capitalist economy and how it was unjust to workers. After his release from Siberia he continued his Hagiographas in Switzerland and Germany.

Lenin was a revolutionist who felt that the tsar must be overthrown. He worked to organize the Bolshevik party which tried to learn the people that there may be a better manner to populate.

One of his of import accomplishments was assisting the Bolsheviks overthrow the tsar on March 1917 and assisting to organize a probationary authorities. In November 1917 the Bolsheviks overthrew the probationary Kerensky authorities and Lenin was elected as the new presidents. This gave Lenin a opportunity to set his constabularies into consequence. The Bolsheviks came to power with the slogan Bread, Peace, Land. The motto was meant to assist the Russian people. Peace was for the solders who wanted to halt combat in World War I. The in-between category people needed nutrient ( staff of life ) . The provincials needed more land to farm on.

When Lenin came to power he established a Cheka ( a secret political constabulary ) , who arrested and killed those who opposed the Bolsheviks and Lenin. Lenin thought people must be taught the new policy even if by force. On July 10th, 1918 many alterations were made and a new Soviet fundamental law was written. Most

of the state s in private owned industries, concerns land and belongings were to be owned by the authorities. Foreign trade was besides taken over by the authorities. Workers merely had to work eight hours a twenty-four hours and the church s power was taken over by the authorities. The authorities controlled all monetary values and pupils were able to acquire a instruction for free. These stairss were portion of Lenin s policy to accomplish a classless society.

In order to halt Russian s contending in the war, Lenin signed the Brest Litiovsk pact. Russia was forced to give up three provinces by the Baltic sea and parts of Poland to Germany. However in 1918, a civil war broke out in Russia between the Communists ( reds ) and the Whites ( who wanted the old authorities to come back ) . After the civil war, the economic system was in really bad form. To seek to assist the economic system Lenin established the New Economic Policy ( N.E.P. ) . This policy tried to make a manner with some socialists policies Lenin had tried to utilize. Under the N.E.P. a individual was allowed to hold a little private concern and attempt to do a net income.

Lenin had a batch of thoughts which he tried to set into consequence during his life-time. Although I think that some of these constabularies were meant to be good for the Russian people, they were frequently excessively terrible and I do non hold with them. I do non hold with some of these thoughts at all. One of his purposes was to set up a egalitarian society, with which I agree in portion. A egalitarian society is one where you work for the general good of society. You get what you need for you and your household. No affair what you do, you are rewarded based on your demand, non on how of import what you do is. Although this is good because the people all get to portion every bit in whatever society has, I do non hold with a society where people do non acquire rewarded for working harder so others. Why should person work harder if there is no wages.

Although, I do non to the full agree with Lenin s classless society, I can understand why he wanted it. When Lenin was a kid, life under the tsar was really hard. Peoples were hapless and did non hold freedom, a few were really rich and enjoyed life. I can understand why Lenin became a radical and wanted to subvert an unjust tsar. This is what he was believing of, when he wrote some of his plants. However, he became to extreme when he talked of revolution and subverting the authorities.

These utmost steps was shown in another of Lenin s policies. For illustration, Lenin used the cheka to implement his thoughts. The cheka was a awful thing. It was a secret constabulary who murdered and arrested those who opposed Lenin and the Bolsheviks. This thought deprived people of freedom of address and was non in line with his policy of desiring people to be equal in a classless society.

In the terminal, his thoughts did non all work and Lenin had to organize the New Economic Policy ( N.E.P ) . The NEP was a spot like capitalist economy. Small private concerns were allowed to be and you pay a revenue enhancement to the authorities. Besides under this policy private and ownership was allowed once more. Foreign trade was besides allowed.

Near his decease Lenin began to inquire whether it was good to let the authorities to hold excessively much power. He was afraid that some people would seek to acquire personal power by commanding the authorities. However, he died before he could do any alterations.

Vladimir ilyich ulyanov may hold had some thoughts when he started, nevertheless, I do non believe they could work for a long period of clip.
