Ah yes the age old inquiry, comparing the 2 most influential sets in metal history ( of class this is in past tense sing even Metallica has admitted to no longer being a metal set ) . I write this essay to assist give an apprehension to those hapless drones whom remain chained to the outsize bandwagon that are known of as the Metallica & # 8220 ; fans & # 8221 ; . I am an experient instrumentalist who has been playing for over 5 old ages. I have a background in guitar, bass, membranophones, and vocals. I knew that I wanted to be a serious instrumentalist from the twenty-four hours I started. I am NOT one of those poseurs, who purchased their $ 20 guitar in a garage sale, learned an all-power-chord Metallica vocal and said they are a & # 8220 ; guitar player & # 8221 ; . The deficiency of chords ( other than power chords ) in this cat & # 8217 ; s Riffs is abashing, and is the chief ground I can & # 8217 ; t stand to play Metallica vocals. I get world-weary playing the same Riff over and over, and autumn asleep with its simpleness. Just expression at this cat, how much more of a poseur can you be?

Lars Ulrich & # 8211 ; Here & # 8217 ; s a member of Metallica I can stand. David Ellefson & # 8211 ; Just listen to peace sells? or any other Bass-riffed Megadeth vocal, and he should talk for himself. This cat has an incredible apprehension of tune and how rhythm works, every bit good as the music concern. Just read his book Making Music Your Business.
