Music App.9 May 1999 I went to this believing it was a Musical Event with a Symphony, so I told my girl about it and talked her into traveling with me. When we got thereand were seated I realized there was no Symphony. On phase there were two blackgrand pianos confronting each other. Then I was oddities, so I started to read the plan usher and realized the whole concert was traveling to be about a gifted hubby and married woman jazz band playing the piano and I knew there was non traveling to be any vocalizing, dancing, or any other instruments being played. After reading a short life on the two, I thought this would non be every bit deadening as I thought it might be. I looked down the plan at the pieces and composers being played and I recognized two of the five composers from which we studied in category, Franz Schubert and Johannes Brahms. I knew that at least some of the composing was from the classical period and I didn & # 8217 ; t cognize anything about the other three composers. When I got place I looked through my book to see if I could happen out any background information but could non happen any, so I looked up their names on the cyberspace. They were all classical composers except for Reger who did a batch of work on the romantic period and Darius Milhaud who & # 8217 ; s attack to composition, was broad in every Se
nse, was a 20th century composer, but what all composers had in common where there manners and the types of pieces they wrote, chamber ensembles, piano concerto, choral and common people like vocals.
Most of the pieces Duo Turgeon played were assorted metre, existent fast and so really slow I enjoyed watching the twosome be really enthusiastic while playing. Most of the clip the two played on the same piano but would divide and play on their ain single pianos. I was sitting on the right side of the auditorium and could non see their custodies, merely their organic structure motions particularly their caputs, They looked like rocking poulets but really motivated. My temper was altering with the music, at times I wanted to fall asleep and other times I felt like I was adding a small spot of civilization to my life. There was no vocals but after every piece, they would merchandise off speaking about the piece of music they were repairing to play and do a few amusing gags about each other. You could state there was great chemical science between the two of them. In decision the performing artists were good but I didn & # 8217 ; t attention for the music, I would instead watch Jill Smith drama pieces from Bach, Beethoven or Mozart because they are more gratifying to listen excessively.
