Peoples in the Puritan society used that as a tool to derive power and wealth. Throughout the enchantress test. many people with impure Black Marias were manipulated by the overpowering power of being connected to god and seek to profit from it but finally it led to their ain devastation such as Abigail. Thomas Putnam and Paris.
On the other manus many people with pure Black Marias were willing to be hanged than named other people such as Giles Corey and John Proctor. Abigail. Paris and Thomas Putnam Black Marias were blacken by the power of God but granted by the Satan. They accused other of witchery in order to profit from it. Thomas Putnam accused other as witchery so he could by off the land while Paris accused other who against him to protect his celebrity. Unlike Paris and Putnam. Abigail intent was different.

He was so tortured with a big stone on top of his chest until decease but still non a name came out of his oral cavity except two words “more weight” . With no discoloration in the bosom. Difference from Abigail and Giles Corey. John Proctor was neither pure white nor black.
