In The Lord of the Flies, fright is the cause of all devastation and force, which leads to savagery, and disobeying of human ethical motives. Without the normal regulations of society assisting to steer them, they become disoriented with the new milieus, hence freighting them into barbarian ways.

After the traumatic plane clang the male childs became scared because their universe of comfort was no longer seeable, and a dark chilling topographic point awaited their reaching. Fear inside of them became greater but the male childs did non to demo their fright. Now with the danger of many animals / animate beings, they decide to run. So fright of non acquiring rescued sets in and the kids start to run and destruct.

With the menace of the beastie the huntsmans are excess cautious so they build a fire on the beach and they hold a assemblage. The fire represent the safeness of visible radiation and the assemblage keeps everyone together, so as a group, are non scared. They start to dance and circle around the fire, meanwhile Simon cognizing the truth about the beastie hastes to state the male childs, & # 8220 ; The circle became a horseshoe. A thing was creeping out of the forest. It came in darkness, unsteadily. The shrill shouting that rose before the animal was like a hurting. The animal stumbled into the horseshoe. Kill the animal! Cut his pharynx! Spill his blood! Do him in! & # 8221 ; ( Pg.152 Golding ) The animal was now turned into guiltless Simon and because of the fright inside the jungle, and indoors themselves, Simon was viciously beaten and killed by the other male childs as the female parent hog was with her immature. The violent death of Simon showed how fright caused freak out in world. Simon holding no fright, was the 1 who had the reply. The animal is within us ; there is nil to fear. Simon used no force and came face to face with the animal. He knew the truth.
