The sandbox by Edward Albee is a drama that conveys an implicit in message of aged attention, dotage and decease. The characters of the drama each return on a personal mentality and each with a axial rotation in life. The drama is difficult to understand. Each individual has to draw out his or her ain significances.
Indicating out the dysfunctional household, Edward Albee begins his non-direct attack to the topic of decease and entombment. The characters Mommy and Daddy are hubby and married woman they paint a image of a typical bossy older adult female and a submissive hubby. Mommy has the job of caring for her ain female parent.
