Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Aldous Huxley ( 1894-1963 ) was born to an English household. He was a superb societal

ironist. He wrote books about architecture, scientific discipline, music, doctrine, history, and faith. This is a book of genetic sciences in

friends with John and they portion literature with each other. John has dreamed of traveling to the civilised universe, but he

realizes that he doesn t like it any longer. Linda dies, which makes him even more ferocious. He gives a talk about

freedom during soma distribution. Mustapha Mond sends Bernard and Helmholtz into expatriate for barbarian behaviour.

John is kept back for trials. John runs off to an old beacon and purifies himself and patterns faith. Civilians

come upon John during his self-torment and he becomes the fad of T

he civilisation. A film is released with footage of

John floging himself, the populace want to see him ache himself. They get so caught up in the minute, that they start

hitting each other. He awakens the following twenty-four hours and sees no ground to populate so he commits self-destruction.

This book s subject is freedom. In a universe that has no individualism, we would believe we want it, but in that universe they are

trained to be happy with what they have. Certain things are censored. There is no matrimony, no force, no unhappiness.

But the people don t recognize it. What they don Ts know can t ache them. John realized it because he came from the barbarian

reserve. He argued long and hard with Mustapha Mond and the Controller.

But I like the incommodiousnesss.

We don t, said the Controller. We prefer to make things comfortably.

But I don t want comfort. I want God, I want poesy, I want existent danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want wickedness.

In fact, said Mustapha Mond, you re claiming the right to be unhappy.

Not to advert the right to turn old and ugly and of import ; the right to hold poxs and malignant neoplastic disease ; the right to hold excessively

They thought that people would be happy if they didn Ts have jobs. Peoples didn Ts have to worry about their hereafter or

matrimony. They would merely work and be happy. But that s merely what makes us alone. We can t merely take a drug that

makes us happy to maintain us inline. But freedom cost John his life.

Aldous Huxley s manner is good. He uses descriptive words when they are needed. They give you the semblance of being in a

futuristic universe. The beginning is filled with technological information mixed in with the description of the universe. First

we meet the D.H.C. so we meet Bernard and Lenina two chapters subsequently. The writer uses this to give us a backround of

this brave new universe. The writer makes the characters use Ford alternatively of God. I thought that was amusing, to see

how much they use it. The characters say phrases like Ford, I m late! , and Thank Ford. They even sing Ford in

their hymms and vocals.

I thought this was a good book. It was descriptive of the new universe. And we must larn that for a Utopia, we would hold

to give our freedom, poesy, faith, and dreams. Pain and Attitude are the beautiful things that make one truly

homo. It was upseting that John had to decease in the terminal but that s life. He wanted freedom and he got the rough world.

The authorities can t do people happy with admiration drugs that fight depression. Peoples want freedom but they still

desire a perfect universe. But you can t hold both.
