On the eventide of October 17, 2000 I, along with 100s of people, gathered in the Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center to watch the ill-famed New York Philharmonic. The concert was scheduled to get down at 7:30pm. Peoples gathered to their assigned seats around 7pm. As we sat and waited for the concert to get down, I absorbed the milieus about me. The New York Philharmonic orchestra started off with a well-known piece by Bernstein, Jeremiah Symphony No. 1. This was the first clip I had heard this piece.
